The Winds of Change

June 15, 2016

The wind of the Spirit is blowing!

While the earth remains, seed time and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”

Genesis 8 v 22

A wonderful promise and one that I have meditated on this past week, while I have been weeding my drive yet again! This is an unending job because the wind constantly blows fresh seeds over it. The rain falls and up the weeds come.

However, God spoke to me clearly about His Holy Spirit wind blowing across our land carrying precious seeds for a harvest of souls! These seeds are the gospel, the words we speak to our neighbours, work colleagues, every day people we meet or those we plan to sow seeds into as led by the Holy Spirit.

But don't be fooled, the sowing and watering are vital stages to the harvest as it is written in scripture:

1 Corinthians 3:6-8

6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 7 So then neither is he that plants anything, neither he that waters; but God that gives the increase.8 Now he that plants and he that waters are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

If there are no seeds planted to water, then there will be no increase!

So, I am looking for an army of seed bearers; unashamed of the gospel of Jesus, willing to spend time casting precious seeds into our world (call me on 07788612398)

Psalm 126 5-6

5 Those who sow in tears will reap with cries of joy.
6 Those who go forth weeping, carrying sacks of seed,
Will return with cries of joy, carrying their bundled sheaves.

There is a promise of joy and bundles of saved souls! Do you believe the scriptures? Come and join us in the Hub Church – God is planning big things and He wants you to share in the work and the rewards!
