Fear

Jesus often said “be not afraid” and for good reason!

Fear ruins more lives than you might imagine.

Each of us has the potential to achieve great things,..

but the nagging voice of fear in our heads can stop us from fulfilling our best.

1. You don’t grow if you don’t stretch

What I mean by this, is that if you stay within your comfort zone, you don’t increase. But if you instead stretch and face your fear with courage and go to your limits, then your limits will expand and you will be able to do more in the future.

2. You don’t know until you try When good opportunities come along, seize them! Many a dream has stayed just that, because we allow the voice of fear and past disappointments to override the passion to make a difference. Those that truly achieve are the ones who go for it and often have failures along the path to success. Just see the failures as stepping stones on the way to your goal.

3. Increase your confindence

On the other side of your fears there are great rewards and a greater confidence. By doing what we’re afraid to do because it’s beyond our comfort zone, we grow in confidence. The increased confidence gained will take you further than you ever thought you could go.

4. Life’s short

So don’t allow the enemy of fear to steal your future!

A fruitful life is one that is made by daring to step up where others falter in fear.

Many times in my business life, and as a pastor planting and leading a church, I have had to overcome fear. Not that I feel any more adequate now but I have learned that my ability ultimately comes from trusting in God and knowing that should I fall, he will be there to catch me!
