GOD is LOVE

We all know that an apple tree will only produce apples.

It would be a confusing world if trees started producing different fruits or even suddenly became poisonous.

The Bible teaches us that GOD is LOVE. He doesn't follow some law that makes him love and he doesn't try to always Love because he thinks it is the best way.

No! God Loves, because that is who he is. It is in his nature and essence. He cant help himself!

This should always be our measure when trying to understand Christian teaching, events in the world and things in our personal experience.

Without this understanding, confusion often creeps into our lives. The danger is that we begin to blame God for things that he is not responsible for, and in fact couldn't be responsible for, because he cannot deny himself.

If we are faithless, He remains faithful-for he cannot deny himself. 2 Timothy 2:13 NKJV

If we believe something about God that constantly make us uncomfortable, then we should firstly ask; Is it loving? We should then, diligently study the scriptures to find out whether our understanding is incomplete. Alternatively ask someone who is mature in the Christian faith to help you.
